Pediatric AFO casting socks available in 4 sizes

Pediatric AFO casting socks are now available from the STS Company. Four different sizes were developed to cover a broader range of anatomy and children"s ages. The fast setting water curable resins are impregnated on the casting socks have a set time of approximately 2 minutes. The impressions are as accurate as plaster of paris and can be easily removed with a small scissors. The casts are ideal for CAD/CAM. A great deal of time can be saved for practitioners as no cast room clean up is required. If central fabrication is chosen the casts can be shipped immediately with little chance of damage. A cast cutter is not required nor recommended making the removal process much easier for child, parent and practitioner. An ideal choice for children requiring custom AFO"s.
